Just had a look at the
Members List, and I see NSW has 460 Members, WA 405, QLD 403, VIC 402, SA 156, ACT 47, NT 46,INTERNATIONAL 38, and TASSY 27, think us Canetoads will have to get our heads together and try and beat the Cockroaches and Sandgropers, there's a bit of Pride at stake here, maybe we might have to get the Exploroz Management to limit
Membership for NSW just until we catch up, or we could adopt SA and make them a Sister State, we could offer them a few incentives, lol lol.
Cheers
Daza

Daza,
People in NSW have more time to join and enjoy themselves, due to daylight saving.... not sure I shoulda said that! 'Whacker

Hi Daza,
You forgot to factor in the
population of each area.
If you take in
population, WA heads the list and NSW is almost at the bottom of the list with only Tassie behind.
WA - 1 in every 5400 people is a member.
NT - 1 in every 5800 people is a member.
ACT - 1 in every 7300 people is a member.
SA - 1 in every 10300 people is a member.
QLD - 1 in every 10710 people is a member.
VIC - 1 in every 13280 people is a member.
NSW - 1 in every 15254 people is a member.
TAS - 1 in every 18400 people is a member.
Figures taken from ABS website, and yes, I did take the 38 international members from the member total.
Cheers
Alan

Interesting spin!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pity the cane toads didn't think of that one Daza Ha Ha Ha
Or
does it prove that there is little else to do in WA, NT or even the ACT. LOL
Maybe it's, as was pointed out, because it gets dark earlier they have to seek entertainment from other sources LOL.
Keep it light hearted.
Cheers Colin.

Hi Colin
Nothing else top do eh - I don't know about that.
Alan you have let the cat out of the bag. The ‘foreigners’ from t’otherside will wonder why we have such a high head count per thousand and come over to see our beautiful state our remote deserts etc for themselves.
We’ll be swamped and the property values will drop - lol.
Phil

ahh you know me Phil,
Never let an opportunity go by, which can promote the great state of Western Australia, where the sun sets over the ocean, the deserts, yes - deserts...are calming with their vastness and beauty...
But, they are coming, indeed, some are already here!!!
All in the interests of interstate rivalry :)))

Daza,
I don't like the comment about having SA as our sister State LOL
You have forgotten to mention that there are 232 Business Members, so Adding that to the Steady as she goes Member numbers of 1985. There is just over the 2000 financial contributor to the site.
It is also interesting to see which states are getting the Life members as
well as the numbers are slowly growing.
Not counting the Members and Business members there are 41628 registered visitors. I wonder what percentage of those are ex financial members??
Cheers Kev

GB
I am one of the 16 Victorians.
I took out life
membership ,not for the savings but for the convenience. Turning 67 on June12 I wonder how long life will be. I am reasonably fit and reckon I will be still charging around the bush for another 10 years.
I wonder how many of our members in their mid 70' are still actively travelling?
