Hi guys im looking to get away for a few days, I've been stuck in
Perth for 2.5 years and have seen bugger all of this state. now that I have a month off (not my choice) I thought what better time to get away. I was looking for some tracks or tours that might take a couple of days to do, the cruiser is pretty
well set up and I know how to look after myself so was wondering if any Sandgroper's know of some good spots.

Inkbandit get hold of Western 4WDriver Explorer Series Books
4WD Days in the Eastern Goldfields of WA and 4WD Weekends out of
Perth
Ther're trip noted with GPS waypoints and between the two you should find enough trips for a few weekends.

Thanks Bentaxle, I've got a few of the books at
home but was curious to get some time to myself, even though the weather is about to turn bad here it would be great to get away without any crowds

well its not hard to miss the crowds going during the week. Ive done quite a few midweeks trips within a few hundred ks of
perth often without seeing another vehicle on the tracks.
as for the Goldfields trips it is highly unlikely to see anyone on the tracks at anytime

I've done quite a few trips in and around the Goldfields area on long weekends mid week with fellow club members and by myself and have never met anyone else apart from the odd (read occassional) prospector. The only way you may get a crowd is if your are playing patience by the campfire at night.
