Googled and looked over exploroz but can't find what I am looking for.

I am sure several people have put together a list of useful / emergency numbers on a web site.

Stuff like local road conditions, RFDS, local police, repairs etc etc. I am looking to load as much as possible in a satellite phone.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

The Land Rovers Web Page used to have a good list. Plus there is one on the members pages here methinks. How current it is I can't say.
Best to load RFDS and police on speedial. The rest might be better being printed out in booklet form.

Yep, that's what I use too. Each of the Hema maps has a list of emergency numbers relevant for that area.

I reckon it be useful to have a few relaibles back in ' the home paddock'. They should know where you've been, where you are and where you're going.
If things turn pear shaped, someone from back home could probably do more organising than you in a predicament !!

I've seen a list matching that description in the Member's File Swap section.

Gday,
I find having the number of the next pub extremely helpful.
And if your over cautious like me the number of the one after that can be good for those times you miss last drinks but can make the next one by morning.

Cheers

Take note: last updated 2001. May not be important but 8 years is a fair while.

Valid point!!

I hadn't even noticed that to be honest...

Sounds like it's time to spend a bit of time making a few calls!...

May take a few days, but I'll let you know the outcome.

Cheers,. Mark
