Righto, fairly basic lesson today kids. All i want you to do for me today is answer 2 simple questions and then you can go to recess.

Both questions are 12v questions, in relation to an automobiles electrical system.

You will be JUDGED on your answers, so please think it through and go over your answers before submitting. You have 5 mins per question get crackin.

Question 1: If i was to run a new power wire to my new spotlight relay (which has in built 25amp fuse) on Automobile A, do i still need to place a fuse along the new power wire? Even if the relay will be mounted no more then 30cm from battery, Will the fuse mounted relay be adequate?

Question 2: Automobile B has 2 12v power outlets and one cigarette lighter outlet. On the 2 power outlets it says maximum of 120w power through both outlets at same time. This equals only 10 amps through both outlets at same time. So if running a Waeco CF-35 at around 3 degrees celsius, and a Dick Smith Portable Oven both at same time off the 2 power outlets, would this exceed the 10amps?

I cant seem to find any real world power figures for the oven, but it is fused for 15amp, so even if i wasnt running the fridge i wouldnt be able to run it anyway if its anywhere near that figure.

Your time is up, please hand in your answers and go and grab a BEER. Cheers
