Hi all, apologies for yet another LE thread.
I am considering trekking to Lake Eyre from
Perth via the Anne Beadell in a about 3 weeks.
Which of either William Ck or
Marree would be the better base from which to fly over the waters and do some 4wd'ing etc.
I was listening to ABC Bush Telegraph today being b'cast from
Marree and it sounded like the place was crawling with visitors?
Cheers. JB.

John
There will be very little water in 3 weeks. If you fly from
Marree it takes about half hour to get to the water so you see very little on a 1 hour flight, if you fly from
William creek you get to the water a lot sooner so you see more. Eric

William Creek is the best spot but you will need to book your flight
well in advance. Go to Wright Air's website to contact them

Yep,
William Creek would be best. Make sure you book BEFORE you leave.
