Looking at getting a replacement tank for my '95 hilux (duel cab + deisel)
Opposite lock offer a 120 l tank and ARB offer a ? 130l tank. Does that mean the the tank can hold 120 l or 130l or is that the tank size.
Cannot get a clear answer from the Companies.
Thanks

Hi Troy,
This 120L usually means the capacity of the tank. But be warned that you will not get 120L out of it when driving as the last 10L usually cannot be pumped out also the fuel gauge neverreads true afterwards usually showing full until quite a no of ltrs are used this varies from make to make. However some installers actually try to recalibrate the sender in the tank accordingly. But on the whole they are worth the effort.
