I have noticed that most references to Nissan Patrols are GU or GQ. I have had for a couple of years a 2003 build 4.2 TDI which the VIN says is a Y61 model...Does anyone know the correlation between GU & Y61 please?

Technically the GQ is actually a Y60 and the GU is a Y61.

Colloqially, they are known as GQ and GU.
