On Patrol & TONI
As many of you know I am becoming a bit of a fence sitter.
Having put a Tojo donk in the Patrol, I just bought a second hand Engle 50 Lt fridge, to use as a drink fridge or freezer in the CT and keep the Waeco for food.
I only need to join the Liberal Party and re marry a Catholic, Muslim or Buddist to become a professional fence sitter.
But wait there's more, I have Coopers on the Patrol (lettering at the back) and am thinking of putting a set of BFG's on the trailer.
The question: lettering on the inside or the outside?
Colin.

Lettering out all round - Coopers on the front of the car, BFG on the back and the other Coopers on the trailer.

Ah rotation - put BFG on the spares and then you will have 4 of each - rotation problem sorted.
BTW - If you want the best tyres then get Bridgestone D694 - and forget the rest! LOL.
I seem jovial today must be my birthday coming up!

Yeah I've got the Bridgy D694's on my rig and they aren't all too bad. Throw the Coopers on the Trader for say......$20 each and who knows, Kev might buy them at that price.

Hey yeah careful about the birthday stuff someone may pull this thread - in view of this rule I just rewrote the Birthday MM link from the
forum page today so when you use it tomorrow you will see how cool it now is. See how much I look after everyone. In fact a new member
forum footer option will be installed tonight that has a direct link to MM system and will keep you on the
forum page when you send an MM. I have even started to write a friend list for the MM system so that you can send to a group at one time (this is still a little way off but is in the pipeline).
PS: We had better stop the thread hijack and get back to the serious topic of tyres.
David

Lettering on the inside or outside!! That is a serious decision and may take some serious consideration!! Maybe we can put it to a vote!! Michael

White lettering inside, the lettering looks horrible no matter who has made the tyre

What is the deal with lettering on the inside??? Seen it mentioned before..
I mean, what, do people really get off on thinking they are so top shelf because their tyres have the name on the outside???
They really think I am driving past them going, "FFWWOOOAAAARRRRRR
check out the brand name of tyres he's got!"

You must have missed the topic about punctures a few months ago.
The vote was that tyres with lettering to the inside got less stakes through them.
Only reason that seemed valid at the time. :o)
Don't worry Jo, it is secret men's business, no tyre would go flat on you, they wouldn't dare. :o0

Jo I think the lettering on the outside had a subliminal meaning regarding ones sexuallity or something, you know!!! getting in touch with one "femanin side".

Yeah I know JO,
just like the stereotypical blond in the red or pink convertible sports car. Or even the soccer mum in her "soft-roader". You can
