Deanna,

As a test try clearing your temp Internet files and see what happens and then maybe try clearing your cookies. There is a cookie that holds your shopping cart and this may be corrupt.

So please try these two things and report back if you can it may help someone else and if you can do these two thing separately and test it will help me know where to look to try to solve any problem.

Murray this is most strange - we have had over 100 orders today so it does not effect everyone. I have had one other person email me earlier with the same issue however I cannot fault the system.

I have just written a mod that will clear out the cookie if there is an failure of the cookie system. I will need to install this update and compile the site. There are too many users on right now so will do it in an hour or so. If you could try the above tests first this would help me know however if you do it tomorrow it should also work. Let me know either way.

Hi David, I have tried again this morning and I'm still not able to get into the Shop, all other places are OK. As mentioned last night I did what you suggested but still no joy. Not sure if it is my system but I tried to get in on Bevan's laptop but still no joy.

Cheers

Deanna,

Can you try going into places for me also as this will eliminate the mapping engine - and also try this link which will take you to a specific shop item and eliminate the shop index page - Link to Books for test.

Thanks for helping out I would like to solve this however we have had over 200 orders since the updates on Wednesday so it is not a problem for everyone.

PS: What Internet Security product are you using - this may also be causing a problem.

David

I went into Places and tried going into Shop from there, (hope that is what you meant) but still came up with the error. (The error is the usual microsoft error which tells you to 'send or don't send' at the end.

I am not very computer savvy so could be a problem here. Am I still the only one that is having the problem.

We are using AVG Internet Security and have done for a number of years.

Thanks for your help.

Cheers

Deanna

G'day David

I have deleted Temp files & cookies, and can access the shop through your link above, but not direct from the "tag menus " at the top of screen.

Cheers

Hi all - can yo please try the shop home for me again - I think the problem is somewhere in the mapping system but where I am not sure. Anyway please have a try and let me know what happens?

Also can you tell me if places works (ie: you get the map and can click on things on that map). Thanks again and sorry about the errors.

David,

Have just tried 'Places' and the places on the map works fine, unfortunately the shop is still not working, it appears that it is only that area (well for me anyway) that I can't get into.

Hope that helps

Deanna

Hi David, sorry to bother you again with this but I am still having problems getting into the 'Shop'

I've been trying for the past couple of days to renew my membership but unable to get in there. Is it just me or are others having problems as well?

Thanks for your help

Cheers

Deanna
