Hi all you Brissy-ites, on the 26th of June I am coming over to
Brisbane for a couple of days. I am looking at "Rendezvous Hotel in Ann St. As I will be on my own was just wondering what sort of area this is and if the accommodation would be clean at the least. During my stay I will be attending an appointment in Edward St just around the corner of Ann st so this is the reason I have chosen this particular accommodation.
I know nothing about
Brisbane and it's areas so I'm hoping that this area is a safe part of your city.
Any advice or other suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanking you in advance
Cheers
Deanna

smack bang in the middle of the city you will be fine. Across the road from the train station I am pretty sure about a 5 min walk down to Queen St

That's at the top ed of town, getting towards the Valley. Looks like a good spot, although Ann st is one of the busiest streets in Brissy , and you should have no problems safety wise. Just a short walk to either the centre of the CBD in one direction or the Valley with all it's night life in the other direction.

HI MrBitchi, Thanks for your reply, I'm quite happy with Ann St being busy, more people around the safer one is in strange cities particularly at night. As far as the night life is concerned Arrrrrrrrrgh I'm afraid I'm a little tooooooo old for that. I was more concerned about the safety side of the area as I will be on 'shankses pony' and could be walking late evening and don't want to be doing that in the wrong
places.hahaha.
Cheers
