I (think) I have unlocked the unit. When I get a Start screenand ipen Fileman, then "Help". then "About" I get a message saying I am running Fileman cE2.
when i go to Oxe explorer hpomepage to download those programs, there is a message saying Oziexplrere wont run with Pocket PC 2
Does that meean I can't rub these mapping programs on the Moov 360? Is there a workaround? I can't find one in any of the gps forums

I have used MioPocket 3.0 on mine and several other Mio's, including your model and everything works a treat. Download the zip file, unzip to your PC - NOT YOUR MIO - and then read the "read me". The installation instructions are very clear and concise. Then hopefully everything should be good.

I hope this helps,

MioPocket

Yes, you will need to remove any previous installation.

Mio pocket 3 appears to have installed on the card, When i turn the 360 on, it quickly shows me one of the skins, then goes to a ble sctreen with the following icons
Mu device; Recycle bin; Mio Pocket shortcut; Taskbar toggle.
Ay\t tge tpp right of the screen is aX in a blackk square.
At bottom right is a darkblue bar with symbols (including one that is oviously for volume.
None of the icons seems to be active, so essentially the unit now locks at this screen.
If I take the card out and reset, I just get a black screen with a USB symbol and a monitor screeb synbol and a GPS symbol and a graphic that seems to show that the USB is trying to connect the computer to the unit. If I connect the USB cabe, the screen shows they can now talk to each other but I can't seem to access my mio maos/gps functions.

Any suggestions?

Jimbo, before I did the install routine to the card, I removed a file from the unit called "Unlock". I presumed this was the way to do it?
The files I now have on the unit (not the card) are
4 folders; "My Documents"; Profram Files; MioAutoRun; Navman
2 xml files; Device and Paths
an eph.dm file
an "Appstartup" text document
Is anything missing from the units files that should be in there?

I think the problem may be to do with the card. It is an SDHC. The Mio should be able to run it but... I notice in the Miopocket files there are patches with alterations that can be made to the registry for SDHC cards, but don't understand what this is all about.

Hi - cant help with your device no longer working but once you get it going and have miopocket running you will need to download this file to install OziCe

OziCE for Mio type PND

Unzip the files into a folder on your PC and manually copy them to a PND or Memory card using windows explorer.

Cheers

Not quite sure how I did it, but it is now running. The card was incompatible was one issue. Even new card had to be reformatted a couple of times. Then I had to reinstall Mio maps. At first things kept freezing then suddenly evrything was working. Absolutely incredible amount of stuff packed into that program.
Will have asgo at Ozice installation.

Geez give me my laptop and desk top. The little buttons are a bit painfull. Read I need lots of practice. I'm trying to enter the Serial Number and Key codes, but the MIO key board for Ozi doesn't want to load any of the numbers or letters it's as if it's frozen. The Tab, Caps and shift buttons seam to work but not the actual keyboard.

Any ideas????????????

Duncan
What have you used to unlock the Mio? The problem may be in the Unlock, not the Mio. Depending on what you have used to unlock the Mio, the keyboard might be part of the unlock program.

1st off I used the Unlocking Codes that where posted on GPS Australia. That unlock didn't appear to do anything at all. Then I tried the link as mentioned above by the Explorer. That one at least allowed the EOCE to open. Ive had a bit of a look through some of the application folders but didn't notice any that dealt with the keyboard.

Will take it to work tomorrow and let the IT guys have a play.
