They're all thru the Kimberley - have caught them at Manning Gorge, Moll Gorge, Drysdale River, Surveyor's Pool even. Use chook pellets as bait.

Hi John,

Be most interested to know when and where you got cherabin in the Drysdale. The other places listed yes but on the upper Drysdale ????
The lower Drysdale yes very likely.
Can't go in now as it's through Carson River Station & there is no access anymore.
We have been keeping an eye out round here for 24 years & haven't seen a cherabin in this part of the Drysdale.
We also had several different people doing studies on fish and turtles and they didn't get any here either. Different ideas as to why not but no real reason known.
I'd be really interested ( and stunned) to know you got some round this area.

cheers, Anne

Cherabun on the Gibb? Better off trying the Fitzroy river. Use chook pellets, but make sure they are laying pellets. Big difference

Jeff, that croc goes by the name Jethro. Resident of the Wydham Crocodile Park. He used to reside at my mates house for years before he got too big then was sent to Fremantle croc park, and then later back home to Wyndham. Was trapped at the Wyndham boat ramp back in the 70's i think. He is massive, at least 70 years old and around 19 foot long. Very nice sized croc.

There's a place between Derby and Fitzroy Crossing called Camballin. Tons of them there. Take some chook pellets as they love 'em.
