G'day Everyone,

Some recent events got me thinking about the amount of cars i've owned in the short amount of time i've been driving, so i thought i'd ask you guys on here... How many cars have you owned? (or the ones that you remember, for those of you who've had THAT many, LOL)

Me, i've owned:
Toyota Corolla Wagon ('77 model i think?)
KB Laser
Rover Quintet (Honda Accord in disguise LOL)
Datsun Bluebird
VK Commodore
GQ Patrol RB30
VS Commodore
GQ Patrol TB42
VR Calais
Mitsubishi Pajero
And then my current vehicle, GQ Patrol TD42.

Then there's the cars i've bought & not driven (only bought to fix up & make money off or as project cars)

Mazda 929
LX Torana (still got it in the backyard)
LH Torana (ditto)
1990 Magna (was actually a freebie that i got for the missus, but sold it for $250)
VN Berlina
Toyota Corolla Sedan (another '77 model maybe?)

So there ya go... All those cars & i'm only 24 & there'll no doubt be plenty more to come.

Cheers, Brad

Jesus, you go through cars like i go through beer. Myself, 25 years old

Mildly Worked VH Commodore
Heavily worked VP SS Commodore
HZJ75 Landcruiser Trayback - Current car
KZJ120 Prado- Current car

Vh Commodore was fun, but a money pit, the VP however was the greatest thing i have ever driven. The power was incredible, but was also a money pit. Trayback has been best car ever though. Brought it off my old man, never let me down. The Prado however, well i dont want to go there. Lets just say, i am going to kill the previous owner. Anyone wanna do me a favour and pay a visit to him in Perth. If not plenty of mates will be.

Hi Guys,

I have just remembered another, but am a bit unwilling to name it.............

OK......... 1989 Lada Niva, as a fishing truck, was bloody brilliant too!!
That came after I sold the Mokes.

Just to clarify things a bit, from the XY Falcon on we always had 2 or more vehicles.

Maximum at any one time 5 for a short period when changing things around.

Disco.

G'day Brad,

This is really a memory test to see if us old pharts have got Oldtimer's Disease, right? :-)

Someof the model years might be out by +/- 1 or 2, but the order should be right.

1953 Austin A30 4 door
1964 Morris Mini 850
1966 Austin 1800
1967 Toyota Corona 1600S
1965 Lancia Fulvia Coupe
1966 Morris Cooper S 1275
1972 Fiat 125 S
1974 Peugeot 504
1963 Fiat 1100 (for SWMBO)
1973 Suzuki A90 (M/C)
1949 MG YA
1974 Honda 350/4 (M/C)
1974 Mazda 808 (in Fiji)
1976 Renault 12 (for SWMBO)
1980 Honda Accord Hatch (in Oman)*
1980 Honda Prelude (in Oman)
1982 Suzuki TS185ER M/C (in Oman)
1983 Nissan Patrol Safari SWB (in Oman)
1983 Honda Accord Hatch (in UK)
1984 Ford XR2 (in UK)
1986 Mitsubishi Pajero SWB (in Oman)
1986 Toyota Corona Wagon
1990 Holden Commodore
1994 Mazda 323 Astina
1995 Mitsubishi Lancer(for SWMBO)
2003 Honda Deauville 650 (M/C)
2004 Mitsubishi Nativa (In Oman) (= Challenger in Oz)
1996 Mitsubishi Pajero (in Oman)
1996 Mitsubishi Magna Wagon
2004 Peugeot 307 2lt (in Oman)
2007 Ford Focus (for SWMBO)
2005 Toyota Land Cruiser V8 Petrol

* The dealer wiped it out in a 5 car pile-up while "taking it to be washed" after its 5000km service.

Some were great (XR2 and Lancia), some were rather ordinary (the Commode) and some were downright dangerous (A30) but all have left some good memories.

Cheers,
Chris

Oh gosh, I don't know their HQ thingies :
1963 Holden Sedan (something - was my Nana's)
1966 Morris 1100 (went all over Queensland's south-west - when bogged whoever could see over the steering wheel steered and the rest pushed!)
1970 Torana XU1 (British Racing Green - rigid suspension until I changed that - could hardly get to drive it as my father was always 'borrowing' it to go to the Pub or get the mail, huh!) (Three speeding tickets with that one)
After getting married:
1965 EH Ute (technicaly not mine)
1965 EH Wagon (with clip on baby seat over front bench, no belts)
1975 VW Passat Wagon (Mine! and I loved it)
then Toyota something with 2 doors - dark green, went like the wind
1988 Camry Wagon - loved it
1992 bought 60 series LC for farm work (not sure what year it was)
1999 bought 100 series for desert work (still got it)
2007 bought V8 ute (like riding in an armchair - hardly know it was a manual)
This is just my list- Ian's is longer and more interesting (including a Daytona Bronze Monaro with bucket seats - oh yes).
