The number of members has seemed to have risen, since David offered the 42% off.
Early last week I was thinking that the member numbers had fallen to the lowest I had seen them in a long time, down to 1973.
Now they are up to 2031, I wonder if the 2050 mark will be broken??. At the moment they are the highest I have ever seen them.

So welcome to all the new and welcome back to all the renewed members.

Cheers Kev

John,

It is 42% off both new membership and Renewals.

New membership is normally $60, it is currently $34.80

Renewals is normally $40, it is currently $23.20

Check it out in the shop under membership

I have done it early before, David did a similar thing when he turned 40 so I got 2 years worth at once.

Yes shaker you can renew anytime and we add 12 months from your existing expiry date. You can even buy multiple qty's to add multi years if you wish.

Enjoy - Sale will be ending soon so get in quick. Actually one of the thing we forgot to mention in the newsletter is when the sale ends. having discussed this with Michelle we have decided that Monday will be the end of the sale. This should give everyone enough time to have read the newsletter etc.

Hi David,
Earlier this month I renewed my membership, 7th May, so if I pay $23.20 the new expiry date will be May 7th 2011.
Is this correct?
Cheers

Hairs,

Yep, I have done it before and the expiry date just increases by the number of renewals you pay for :)

You guys are treading on some very thin ice, LOL
Fysh Turns the big 40 end June, and that's all I'll say on the matter, I learnt a long time ago a woman's age is off limits. lol

But thanks for the heads up.

Hi Sir Kev (& Darkie!)
I have been haunting this site for a number of months now... I think I have read every forum thread since February, learning from other peoples questions, and have gleaned bucket loads of info.
After deciding that this was the site for me, I looked at joining. As I have become very keen on GPS, moving map stuff, I figured out what I would LIKE to have, and the cost was coming close to $1000.The free membership deal with the purchase of my preferred GPS reciever made the price more than competitive. BUT.....
I work for myself, and the economic downturn has finally hit my business, so I couldn't justify outlaying this sort of money at the moment. I also 'needed' a couple of smaller items, so, having decided to delay the purchase of the GPS stuff for a while, then seeing the 42% reduction in the cost of membership, I thought "Why not just join?" I also purchased an ExplorOz wheel cover & windscreen sticker. As it happened, both these items were on the 42% off list too! So membership and the other items came to only a little more than the cost of normal price membership....excellent value!
Will register my interest in the national gathering in St George, but unable to commit to definitely coming at this stage... depends on a few economic factors.
Thanks for the 'New Members' welcome, very typical of the friendly nature of the 'older members' of this site.
Hope to meet you and others in the not too distant future, 'Whacker

I thought in the other thread that the discount is extended until Monday...to allow those that read the membership newsletter later.

Had a couple of reminders and meant to get around to it, but went away for a while. Got back and realised that membershipe was about to expire and paid. Next day read about the discounts..... Oh well, not complaining as I reckon it's pretty good value anyway.

Cheers,

Mark
