Oztent RV1 advise

Atta Boy Luther

I want to buy an oztent RV1 for my tennage son . I already have an RV4 for the adults . The reason for the RV1 is because its 1.6 metres long and fits in the roof top bag . No room left for RV2 etc . Has anyone regretted the RV1 and wanted bigger ?

Just bought an RV3 after much umming and arrghing. Wanted something small and nifty and quick to put up, but at 193 cm [6'4"] I cannot fit into either the RV1 or RV2 with any degree of comfort. That is the only thing that might dictate the choice.

At the risk of asking the obvious I will: How old is he? They don't get any smaller (the teenagers that is). I reckon something less than an Oztent might be a better buy if there is a chance he will grow and grow out of it . Then get him a really good item when he is older.
