rain in the channel country

At windorah at the moment we are on are way to getting a nice 2 inches of rain for the day, so anyone that is going to travel out this way might pay to check it out first. Fishing comp is on next weekend. cheers

Love the red dunes out there they are just amazing to photograph.

With some winter rain the spring wildflowers should be pretty good this year.

Hopefully we will male it out there later this year.

Oh Handy, not 2 inches. The old fella is due to go back to Birdsville in a day or two - he might have to swim. Anything further west have you heard - we haven't rung anyone yet, have to tomorrow though. Maybe he should stay down and come to the Camping Show with me - I'm getting used to the good life here - the fishing's not much good here though, not like out there.

g'day ruth we have had nearly another inch over night and dosent look like clearing for awhile.
birdsville hadnt had alot that i know of but that can change quick.

Handy, Are you a local there? I will be in Windorah on the 19th & 20th June. If you get the two inches and no follow up rain, will travel in the area be ok by then….. Will be travelling from Brisbane to Birdsville.
