The best way is to join a 4wd club. The larger ones have accredited driver trainers and run regular courses. They also run club trips and you get to meet new people!

Sort of depends on your aim Geoff.

Leroys post can achieve the results and get you a certificate, I've done a couple of accredited ones and they need to be backed up with just hours on the track, to do a lot of practical driving at your own pace in an enviroment where there is help if it doesn't work , this is more the sort of thing we will be doing on this weekends camp.

GDay Geoff,
ARB does a good one up here in Newcastle so i could only assume that your local one would offer the same.

Thanks to all. I have located a club "the Idlers" that meet in Blackburn Melbourne which is a bit of a hike from Kilmore but they seem to fit my requirements very well.
