Hi All,
Do any of you know a way to put a fuel bung in a GU main tank without taking the tank out? ( Deisel tank)

Well, you can drive a hole into the tank with a tapered spike and then screw in a self taper with felt washer under the head. It's no good drilling a hole as this removes metal (sometimes into the tank) so using a punch to form sides to the hole gives the self taper some more meat to bite into.

Hi,
I used to work at West end diesel.
We always took the tanks out to do this. We welded a boss in the tank and use a bolt with copper washer.
Do it once , & do it properly!
