Re-Colour Vinyl Stone Guard

The Vinyl stone guard on the front of our van is in reasonably good condition- except it seems to have lost its colour (Looks like its mouldy - but on closer inspection its where the colour as rubbed off)
I was considering repainting with a Vinyl Paint like VHT Vinyl and Carpet paint. Anyone had any experience using or re-colouring?

I have used it on the plastic section of my dash and had no problems.
You must follow the instructions on the can and don't be tempted to spray with high humidity.

my son is always changing the colour of his interia dash,roof lining.carpet, seats, and they always come up as new hope this helps cheers bill.
