rear demister

Hello all

first time posting and have found this site one of the best for info anywhere.

ok here is my question does anyone know where i can buy a rear demister kit for a 60 series landcruiser. the window i have in mine is a replacement window that didnt have the demister lines on it.

i have found a company in the USA that sells them but they are for full windowscreens only, not for the rear door window.

Hi mcgra,
I guess the most obvious answer would be try Toyota, while mechanical parts seem to be expensive, there other goodies are fairly priced.
The bloke at my local 'yota parts place has come up with a few alternatives as well, like an 80 series plastic console part was $80, the Corolla one was $15, exactly the same part by the look of it....go figure! Perhaps you can get a similar size demister from a different car, depends how cooperative the salesman is.
Not sure where you are, but maybe someone like Don Kyatt would sell stuff like that? I've also seen aftermarket ones in auto accessories stores as well.
