Here we are getting ready for the next adventure, and my
blogs from last year have only got us as far as King Canyon. With Uluru and surrounds yet to come, as
well as the journey home via the
Great Central Road,
Giles Weather Station, and
places such as
Sandstone and
Yalgoo, it will be quite a while before these are finalised.

If i get the time to pack, we should be able to leave in a day or three.
I am just a bit slow about doing them! Too much else gets in the way of a good time. I did the 2006 ones in 2007, then decided it was so much fun re-living the trip, that i did the 2005 ones. Maybe I'll finish 2008 in 2010?

Hi Motherhen, I recognise that, I only finished writing up my July 2007 trip,9300 Km's a few weeks ago. Couple of the highlights of that trip were taking photos at
Devils Marbles and Tinaroo Dam putting my cruiser in (almost same spot) as Dad had the Austin A70 ute in 1961 when we went around Aust. I am about half way through writing my 2008 trip to
Cape York and back, probably wont finish it before I go on this years trip. I probably should keep a diary but I would forget to write it up each day.
Anyway you have a good trip I am going to the
Wyndham races in Aug this year, may see you if you are up that way at that time.

I write my diary up every night, and even make notes in the photo notebook during the day if it is a fact or figure likely to be overlooked.
Least year was the
Kimberley (plus some of central NT). This year we'll head north of
Alice Springs, then go where the road takes us.
