I have bought a 1993 Nissan patrol 4.2 diesel. This vehicle has done only 105000 kms. Is there any advantage in turboing. I will be towing a caravan around Australia.

Is there any advantage to Turboing?

Lots.. More power to start with!

But if I was doing mine again I would go supercharger over turbo.. GQ's suffer from Overheating with Snails on them, the cooling system has to be top cond all the time, then again, some have more problems than others.

If I was towing a trailer round aust, I wouldnt leave without a turbo!!!

If it's a genuine 105,000 klms I'd say go for it. That donk is only just run in if those kays are genuine...
Turbo will give you HEAPS more torque, (which gearbox etc will cope with very very well) but your radiator and viscous fan need to be up to the task.
One of the most common overheating problems is a fan which does not work properly... as both truckster and I have found out!

I don't have one, but lots of people I have talked to reckon it is the best thing for towing. I have heard of people putting them on at 350,000 with no problems. The TD42 is an exceptionally strong engine, no mods to bottom end required. Alan Roe at Alan Roe Automotive in Shepparton is a good contact for them, his number is (03) 5821 4494.

When I was gettin mine, ask Pete I asked 29304823098 people and places, adn in the end it came down to $. Power figs werent that much different between the lot of them.

Id like to see if the Dynamic made any difference...

Then again I'd like to go the supercharger.
