Innamincka Memorials and Markers

This trek which lies purely in the Innamincka Regional Reserve follows the memorials, markers and waterholes along Cooper Creek and includes the 15 Mile Track, and Nappa Merrie Road.

G'day guys,

Have looked through the site - (and google etc) - can't locate the coordinates of Policemans Waterhole (Innaminka) - not marked on any of the maps I have..

Anyone able to help?

Dunno about co-ordinates, but it's just out of 'town' on the river. There's 4 or 5 camping areas there..

Yeh, second that - from the shop/pub, drive down towards the town common campground but continue past that t/o and it should be the next t/o on the RHS. The t/o was quite clearly marked from memory. There are about 3 more other campgrounds along that road (all fairly simliar) with the last (4th) one being one of the Burke/Wills memorials

sounds like we will have to go for a look :) Last time i was there i remember thinking to myself....why am i camped on the common....when that waterhole was just down the road and was so awsomely beautiful....

BTW: Innamincka (all 5 buildings) is in the blank circle in the middle of the map.
