Might be worth checking the ones in the rear view mirror too

Michael,
There is only the one screw, inside the sunnies holder. After you remove that, all that's holding it is 4 clips; one in each corner.
It is damned hard to remove, especially the 1st time. It feels like you're gunna bust something for sure.
However, I start at the front section, just back from the windscreen. Use both hands; press the sides inwards towards each other using a fair amount of strength/force whilst also pulling downwards. It will come away with a bit of a thud.
Then do the same with the rear section near the map lights; this section will be a bit easier as you've already dislodged the front.
It's scary, but you won't break anything...... (I hope)..... hahahaha

LOL!! Apparently there is enough space to place the main unit of a remote head
UHF radio in there.. It may get a bit hot from the sun beating down on it but im going to have a look anyway... Michael

Just had
mine off again last night. There is one screw inside the sunglasses holder, and I also took the rear view mirror off as it makes it easier to grab the plastic to pull the front clips out. Just pull straight down and they will come out.
