Travel Insurance in Oz?

G'day, asking on behalf of a friend, he is trying to get travel insurance for 3-4 months while travelling around Oz in a motorhome. Any body had any luck getting more than 37 days cover? For some reason that is the maximum amount of time he can get cover for. Bizarre. Thanks in advance,

Here is a link to a website. We have used them for OS trips and intend to use them when we go to
Darwin later this year. You can cover for just Australia and you should be able to get coverage for 3-4 months. Have a look anyway...

Can he get a few separate but consecutive policies? (although he may have to alternate between a couple of different insurers)
