And if there are caravaneers out there that don't know all ( or nearly all ) of those "myths", then that may explain some of the vans lying on the side of the road !!

Hi All
My opinion is, what they recommend is correct, re the Myths, but there are a lot of people out there that still don't drive to the conditions, and some overload their vans with all the extras as well, re fold up boat trailers, boxes on the rear ect, some might tow very easy and are stable, but there is a hell of a lot that are not, you even see caravans riding on car tyres, and some not even towing level, but I rarely see any pulled over getting inspected like the truckies do, ah well thats my 2 bob's worth.

Ah, I see the problem now. He didn't use hardwood on his support block off the towball.
He either needs to treat it with oil or paint it for longevity.................
