Almost there with my new GPS, (thanks Paul)
Came with Streets and Topo, and is great for my other activity.
But no desert mapping.
You see, I'm too lousey, to spend the $300+ on
the Desert & 4X4 Tracks, SD card from the GPS
places, especially when I have them on CD, and hard copy maps. But if any one has one at the right price, I would not knock it back either. Had a look for info on the Canning on it , but nothing marked, so into Mapsend Lite Ver 2, and started my own waypoint system.
With mapsend, I was able to get a few waypoints, but they wern't coming fast. Over the next 3 days, or so in my spare time, I patiently placed many waypoints, along the "Track", as I could.
Now the Gunbarrell, the Canning, and many
places in the Pilbra are marked.
Even managed to get them over to the GPS, ripper.
And I will
test it all out in another 6 weeks, and see if my homework has been successfull.
Cheers
Bucky

I found Viv & Ray's place, without the GPS
Confused
Not confused
Confused

It's just a state of mind.
