There was an article on this site a while ago and I cannot find it now about the butane pressure packs that don't work to good in the cold and someone recommended buying a pressure pack with a mixture of butane and something else that works a lot better. Just wondering if someone knows what I am talking about and can help me please as to where I might be able to buy this item.
Thanks Julie

Julie,

Even with the butane/propane mix I find them useless in cold weather. It's still only about 20% propane which isn't enough to stop it freezing.

We went back to a single burner screw on thing to attach to a small gas bottle. $20 from most camping stores.

Cheers,

Jim.
