Hi

I have just purchased/ordered a Trackabout 4x4 Deluxe tourer camper trailer. I have to set up my NM Pajero with trailer brakes. I'm looking for a good Auto Sparky in the Blacktown, Seven Hills or Parramatta areas to supply and fit:

-Brake controller (Maybe Tekonsha Prodigy)
-50 Amp Anderson plug with suitable wiring for a 100 AMP deep cycle battery
-7 pin trailer plug
-Sensor relay to protect vehicle battery.

I have had quotes ranging from $450.00 up to $1,000.00

Why don't you try going to a ARB outlet....they will be able to do the job cheaper then auto electricians, their hourly rate for labor is a lot less.....

Is the $450 you are talking about include supply of the brake controller because if it does and the price includes all the other stuff you refer to I would go with that price...

Hi Mizanne,

I can second the reply above re ARB..... give them a ring at their Wentworthville store and ask them for a price. I had a new UHF aerial fitted a couple of weeks ago and the service was very good and reasonably priced.

Also maybe have a chat with Jason at Total Care 4WD in Seven Hills, he will know a reputable auto sparky that can help you. I also had some work done by Total Care and can highly recommend them. Not affiliated, just a very happy customer.
