We are considering buying a 615 Coromal Princeton van. We would like to have the opportunity of travelling on gravel roads out to the various national parks etc. Does anybody have and comments on this particular van and its suitability for dirt road travel.

Go very gently...may have dust issues....also may suffer some internal parts coming loose...for example cupboard doors, _Affordable_Storage_Drawers.aspx, etc.

With our Jayco, on the hard surface, no worries, but once on dirt and gravel, I nurse her a bit and so far no problems.

However see what others say who own one of these.

Hi,

Not a good choice.

I personally have an Evernew and it's built to our needs to travell the outback roads. Do yourself a favour and give them a call.
A friend of mine had one Coromal replaced under a warranty deal only to have major issues with the second unit. He now has an Aussiewide.

Cheers Racey

Hmmmm...I spent 2007 dragging a Coromal dealer thru the Qld legal system trying to get my money back. I eventually did.

Thank you to all that responded. I won't be proceeding with the Coromal and will be followup the suggestions of purchasing an Evernew model.

See you all in the great outdoors

We have an Evernew van and we take it offroad. We have had no problems at all as they are built very solidly. You will find Bruce & Darren at Evernew very easy people to deal with. their after sales service is very good.
you wont be disappointed with an Evernew.
