across the dirt i asume....i did it a few months back..in my ambo.
wiluna half is fine as normal....graded nicely...but the western end is very average ...ruff some large potholes.....theres a hill about half way with a rest area on top .....name escapes me .but if you see the sign take it real easy over the top ruff and rocky.....apart from that ...alls good...had a bit of rain that way in the past few weeks but wouldnt be a problem ..

have fun Bundy

Gidday

The road is generally good. However be aware that after grading, a lot of screws and nails come to the surface from the transport of equipment to the mining sites.

I wouldn’t worry about it too much, it's a pretty easy run.

If you decide to stay over night in Meekatharra (depeniding on the day) give a bit of thought to secruity.

Regards

Kim

Just noticed the number plate Kim on the Prado in your avatar. You've lost a letter T from it. LOL

Damn it Kim, im staying Meeka in a couple of days. At the Auski motel, is it worth taking out my Waeco at night? What other measures should i take? Does anyone know how secure the premises are?

Dunc

Yes I was a bit disappointed with that, then again I live in Victoria. LOL

Kroozer

Like a lot of these country towns, the locals can get a bit carried away from time to time. During my last stay in Meekatharra there was a bit of trouble in the caravan park, and a lot of equipment was vandalised in the Council depot.

Just take normal precautions and you’ll be right.

Kim

Was over the road a couple of weeks ago. Good gravel the whole way. Was a bit damp in light rain so no dust.

Stayed at the Auski - no problems from the locals.

Thank you all for your most helpful comments. Will take it easy on the road. Saying at the Auski Hotel Motel and will make sure nothing is left in view. Not been there before so looking forward to new territory.
Thanks and cheers
