Haven't been in
Melbourne long and am looking for a reliable garage in the Western Suburbs to get some work done. For starters I need to have the rack ends changed on my wife's Ford Escape. I already have the parts, just need someone to do the job for me, plus wheel alignment when done. Any suggestions gratefully received thanks.

I use a guy called Rob company name all type Automotive he is in 33 Lakeside drive Reservoir phone number is 9469 2933 I find him very honest he tells you everything and I find his rates fair

I can vouch for CeeBee in Preston - not quite Western suburbs but not far off. They'd prob take your vehicle around the corner to Computerlign for the alignment.

For many years I have gone to Officer Smith Automotive, 38 Villiers St, North
Melbourne (9329-9973). They have been excellent. Both have long experience with rally cars and 4WDs. They offer a discount to Pajero Club members.

After a little Googling I see that the "Officer" in the name is none other than Dave "Dinta" Officer. I was a bit of a rally fan years ago and often saw Dinta and Kate Officer mentioned.
That aside, I might give them a call when I get some free time.
