Bob this time in 06 the deepest was the King Edward at 800-900mm. Check with the
Kimberley ABC as they give river depths on a regular basis throughout the day. Most amount of
water crossings in one day was 55 or so. That was from a puddle on a floodway to about 400mm max crossing the Durack.
It's not the
water that's the problem but dust and idiots driving way too fast and on the wrong side of the road.

We travelled it from 16-22 of May this year. Deepest
water was at the Durack river, about 45cm, and about 40cm at the Pentecost. Just a note hear - the Pentecost can vary according to how much the tides hold the
water back. Best to make inquiries with the authorities though as things can change pretty quickly up there. FYI, we towed a 6.4m dirt road van over it without any problems at all.
Happy
camping,
Mike

You'll be fine. But it depends on which creeks crossings your talking about and what car you have? They already held the
Gibb river pushbike race there so im sure a car will be fine. And contrary to belief, the Pentecost doesnt vary with the tide, not enough to make a difference at the crfossing anyway. The salt (tide) only reaches up to about 600 metres below the crossing, and thats on the biggest tide of the year.
