I feel I must draw your attention to a really great blog by Member
Campergirl re her recent solo outback trip. You may recall the
research she did on this site before setting out. I found this blog to be an excellent, eloquent word picture of the trip, with
pictures too, & written in a style I'm sure would surpass most of
the trip story rubbish printed in the travel & car mags. Well done,
Campergirl, a fabulous entertaining story. I look forward to the
second half...cheers...oldbaz.

I enjoyed that read also. A lot of her trip was where we went over the last six weeks, and brought many smiles to our faces.

Wow Guys - Thank you so much. I can't believe the interest and incredible wishes from everyone. I really owe a lot of it to you guys.

Without the amazing people on here sharing their adventures, info etc - I probably be stuck somewhere out the "Back O Bourke" or still at home dreaming about it.

I'm addicted. As long as Little Van survives - we'll be off at every chance.

No going back now - I've turned to the Red side.

Thats the biggest problem when such trips end, after you unpack and head back to work, you subconsoisly start planning for the next one, and why you didn't do it sooner

But don't worry, your not alone, This website has cost me THOUSANDS (not directly) and contiunes to tease me into the NEXT big trip, I cant decide where!!.

Thanks for sharing your wonderful adventures. You are right, this site is a marvellous way of gathering information for such trips, I've used it many times over the last few years.

Without doubt stories like yours inspire many to explore further and discover what an amazing place we all live in. Sounds like you have just started something that can get very addictive!

Thanks again I really enjoyed the read. It made me even more impatient to get out there...September seems so far away still!
