As a 'voter' may I suggest it's not situated where members can see it?

Yep, I'll second that. I didn't know about it until I read this post. Maybe if the powers that be put a post on now & then explaining what it's all about would result in a wider representation of potential voters.

Hi Murray,
It makes you wonder. Between Steve's Thread (69761) and Mine (69761) There has been just over 1074 views, and yet there are 2084 members and as you mentioned only 257 have voted. Hmm

Hi Mainey, It may have something to do with it, So We'll just remind people that it is on their Members home page.
Or is it that a lot don't care. I don't know.

Hi Vince,

Your Voting for,
1) Members Only Forum Threads
2) Add "send to list" to Member Message
3) Create new area for chatroom
4) None - I like things the way they are

You will find it on The right hand side of Your Member Home about half way down the right hand side. :)

Hope this helps.

I was going to vote but when I went looking for somewhere to vote I couldn't find it - Now I'm told its on the Members Home Page ??
OK where is that and whats the title its under ?
Coz when I click on the Members Tab there's not a lot of "VOTE HERE" places that I can see ...
Anyone else got a similar problem or do my glasses need a bloody good clean ?

Cheers

Mandrake

Hi Mandrake, it's about 1/2 way down your personal home page, titled I think "have your say". 262 voters so far as of a minute ago, but most say they don't want any change anyway. Apathy, perhaps? Or is it not prominently enough placed? I know I had to look a bit before I found it, after being notified in the newsletter.
Cheers, Dave.
P.S. I will be pestering you about solar stuff soon, hope I have the right person :-))

Is situated on the "Members Home Page"

Is now 262 votes, so at least it's getting attention now and some real results may appear.

For some reason when I try to vote it won't accept it...nothing happens. The same thing is happening when I try to reply to a member message. I press send and nothing happens. I can't even delete the member message so the "message that I've got a message ' keeps coming up every time I use the forum. Help!

Looks like not many members read the news letter or opened it up, so a poor resonse so far. It would be good to get many more votes so that a more general opinion could be given. May be a reminder from David might help the poor result

I find it very hard to believe that you can vote more than once ;)

If that is the case then I feel that you have not voted in the spirit that it was intended.

Cheers Kev
