I need some advice on how to suppress noise that occurs when the Hayman Reece brake controller is activating the brake on the caravan. It is only noticeable on an AM radio station.
It is most evident when the station is obviously far away like coming across the Barkly Highway, etc.
The noise does not occur when the caravan is not connected.
Hope you can help.
Cheers
Duncan

Put a capacitor in the power line, Jaycar sell them or any car stereo retailer should also stock them.

Your lack of planning does not constitute my emergency.

Could well be a bad earth

I have a similar problem with my rear camera on the van.

When its connected I get a crackle in the radio.

Disconnect it and its gone

Must run a wire back to the car and see if it stops .
