Hi GN,
The
Brisbane Caravan and Camping Show ties them up for a bit and then there is a backlog - I remember a similar post last year.
Give em a call.

I was lucky enough to catch up with Rod on his last day at work there.
A helpfull, and thoughtfull chap, who understood the power of the forums, and the benefit of customer service.
He retired, thus leaving the company, had a ball looking round the factory.
I still dont think he realised tho the frustration we faced of our 2 faulty new fridges before we were to set out on a month long trip, and missing out on 2 other trips which were to be the shake down for the longer one, one being our 10th wedding anniversary, which we couldnt go away as originally planned, as we didnt have a fridge to do so.
Anyway the damn thing works now, and I spose thats whats important.

Just a plug for them. I organised one for a mate and compared to my engel they are way more efficient. Not sure of longevity but they use way less power and find it easier to keep temperature on hot days. With out doubt if I didn't already have an engel I'd buy an evakool.

Hi
Yep I agree on the efficiency, i too have an engle that stays at
home for those exact reasons.
they are shipping unit back this week i hope and probably get a new one.
I love their products but was getting a bit ppppppp off with this one's failures.
seems it has a tiny tiny leak some where that is so small the local repair guy cant find it, possibly not even evakools fault but i just want it to work and be reliable.
regards
