Our situation is that our current vehicle may be replaced b4 a big trip next year, but we need a brake controller if we pick up a camper trailer e.g. Jayco Outback Swan- ~1170kg tare, towball wt: ~125kg.
Is it a matter of just wiring up the new car and securing the same controller?
Thanks

Yes,
You can get all the replacement wiring items etc from ABR.
I have wired up both of our vehicles and only have the one controller.
Cheers Kev

A separate cradle and loom is available, enabling quick and easy transfer of the controller

I would just like to confirm all you need is a replacement loom and cradle!
As said above you can buy both these parts.

Yes, it's not difficult. In fact, I we only have one or two brake controllers shared between our extended family but almost all the cars were wired up for them. In our case, we simply used a Narva 4-pin plug & socket.
