Scarborough beach is probably the closest accomodation. No tourist park but a number of motel/backpacker type places. There is also a high rise resort syle place.Used to be called Observation City. Think its a Rendeveuze Resort now.
Scarborough is about 10 min drive at most Floreat. Hope this helps a bit

Hi Guys
Glen is right when he says there is nothing in Floreat Park. Another area close by to consider is Subiaco. Numerous accommodation, cafe strips etc. and probably a bitter more pleasant a place to be than the beach in September. Easy access to the city and Fremantle by train and about 10 mins by bus or taxi to Floreat. Check out http://www.stayz.com.au/accommodation/wa/perth/subiaco.

Hi Guys,

Try Kings Park Motel, Thomas St.(Either Subiaco or Shenton Park, not sure which) Not far from City and only around 5 minutes from Floreat Park.
Stayed there a few years back, was a good 3&1/2 to 4 Star rating then and not too Exy.

Try Google for more details.
