Does anyone know if there are any holiday sites at Karratha Caravan Park or parks close by ? And do you have to book ahead?

Hi
Karratha is usually full up with workers .You might be better of trying Harding river caravan park in Roebourne as we find this all right for a night or two when passing .If you camp out try Cleaverville Beach between Karratha and Roebourne .

Would highly recommend staying at Point Samson. It is only about 25 minutes drive, but if you really need to stay in Karratha the you can try these links....

Pilbara Holiday Park

Balmoral Holiday Park

but I still maintain that this one is the best if you don't mind a little drive.
