David, when you are viewing photos in Memer's
blogs etc, is there anyway of viewing the pics instead of having to close the current picture. As in I mean a "next" button in the corner to go onto the next photo instead of having to close and then reopen the next picture. Here I am not even a Member for 1 day and asking questions.......
Thanks
Karen

I'm not David or Michelle, but hover your mouse pointer just below the top RH corner of the enlarged pic and a "next" button should appear. The "prev" button will be at the same height on the LHS.

Thanks Timbo. This must be another "Mac" issue as I dont have that either. Gee wiz, changing back to Windows PC is looking good. At least I had everything on there. I tried what you said and once again I dont have the arrows. Dont ever buy an Apple Mac. They are so far behind the other PC's. Karen.

How do the enlarged pictures open up?
Most times the page goes dark and the picture opens up in front - if this is the case you should get the buttons, and close button at the RHS in the white below the picture.
Sometimes the picture opens like going to a completely new webpage - in this case I don't get any buttons, just the image, and then I have to use the 'back' button on the browser to go back to the blog - is this what happens to you?

Timbo, mines opens as you explained first. The page goes dark and then the pic opens up in the front. The close button is in the middle down the bottom. But I don't have any other buttons. I am really over this Mac computer already. lol. Karen

Hi Joe, I was just trying to work out how to go to the next picture when I am viewing members photos, but I cant get the "next" or "prev" button to show. So when I want to go to the next pic I have to close the one I am in and then open the next one. It is not a major drama, but it is annoying and easier if I could just click next. I haven't had the Mac for long, and sometimes are very sorry I didn't stick to Windows. There is a lot on here I cannot do like I could on my old puter.
Well you probably can do it, I just dont know how. And when you are not a wiz on these things it doesn't help. lol.

Karen,
Are you trying to view photos in members Profiles or just in the
Blogs??
As the option to scroll through photos in the members profile does not allow for scrolling AFAIK
Cheers Kev

No wonder they call you "SIR" Kev. You have just answered the problem. Yes it was the members profiles I was looking at. I checked out the
blogs and I have the arrows on there. Now why cant it be the same in the members profiles bit? Sir Kev, thanks for your help, I might go and do something now. I have sat here for hours trying to work that out. Think I need to turn the puter off for a while and get some chores done now..........lol.

Karen,
It is easier for us if you use the feedback form however can you try using the viewer in FF on your Mac and see what happens. You should be able to click anywhere on the imagLHS will go prev and RHS will go next - let me know.

Karen,
Stop blaming the Mac every time you encounter a problem. They are a great computer. One thing a Mac does NOT HAVE that a PC has, is the dreaded Blue Screen of Death, and other hang-ups, or viruses, or .............. oh lots of problems.
You WILL get skilled with the Mac. It won't happen overnight but it WILL happen.
Hang in there!
There is one small issue of Mac with the ExplorOz
Shop and David is working on that.

Hi Karen
I have 3 Mac's - pics work fine. I scroll through them using the arrow keys. Right arrow for next pic and left arrow for previous.
I also get a "next" button on the right hand side of the pic - near the top corner but probably about 2cms below the corner and a "prev" on the left side.
I was a PC user for over 20 years then switched to Mac's 2 years ago - I've never looked back. Never had any virus problems or operating system crashes etc. Don't give up - take the time to do the tutorials - it's so worth it.
Hope this helped you a little
:-)

Thanks for that. I finally worked it out......
well Sir Kev did for me. Apparantly the arrows are not there if you are looking at the profile, but they are there if you are looking through the
blogs. Hence why I couldnt find them. I get so mad and frustrated with this Mac, and I know it is only learning and patience, but patience is one thing i don't have alot of.....lol. Little things like screen dumps, the keyboard doesn't have a "print screen" button on it, so I cant work out how to do a screen dump, which I used to use a fair biton my Windows PC. Anyway.............thanks for your reply anyway.
Karen.
