Finalising fuel budget. Can some please tell me what to expect in the Cape at the moment for diesel.

Thats a good web site, found footage of some cape river crossings posted recently in the
forum. Good to see cant wait. Id tow a camper if I had one.

Just returned from a trip to the top last Monday.
The diesel prices varied a bit but may now be another 8 cents higher since Qld scrapped the fuel subsidy.
Prices we paid were:
Coen - $1.44
Bramwell
Junction - $1.88
Bamaga - $1.80
Lockhart River - $1.75
Once you get back to
Mareeba or
Mossman it was back around $1.20 again.

Weipa price jumped from 139.9c to 149.9c overnight !
