G'day,
Haven't stayed there but was driving up that way today so called in to have a look. It costs $55 for a 48 hour weekend (Fri night - Sun arvo)
It looks OK,
well maintained
camping area with a good creek and amenities block (didn't see inside). It did look peaceful there today, not too many there at all. I imagine on a busy weekend it could get pretty crowded.
As for kids, take their bikes, footy's, etc; there is a nice creek for swimming when the weather is good and bush walking.
For the big kids I believe there are 4wd tracks to venture out on.
I'll stand corrected on any info provided given I only saw it today and have not stayed there.
There are also a couple of
camp grounds at Lake
Somerset which look OK, we are heading there next weekend. Its only about 20 minutes from
Kilcoy.
Cheers
Evan
