Whats the road like from Cape Crawford to Daly Waters. Is it suitable for towing a caravan..

Hi Ron,
Do you mean via the Carpenteria Highway ? if so we did it with our cruiser and van about 9 months ago and it was good bitumen all the way.

Yeh.... narrow but good. 100 Klm West of Cape Crawford is a rest Area at October Creek on the West side, and a better one is just 40.2 Klm West of Cape Crawford called The Lookout Rest Area, turn right on top of the hill near a Telstra Tower.

Every road atlas I've looked at shows it as a sealed road. which is exactly what it is.

But I suppose a vote of approval must be required just to be sure.
