Hi crew,
I see there are a few old threads re single wheel conversions for Canters,
I just got a set from ebay, member 4X4 trax has them available & freight from victoria to
perth was only $32 per rim.
They are a 16 x 8 split rim with 10mm thick centre, I mounted 315/75 16's on them & they seem great, havent done an offroad adventure yet though !!
cheers,
Dave

Dave.
Are they a purpose built wheel or just the
wheels of the 6 ton model.? the best ones have a different offset front and back. Eric

Hi Eric,
I think they are purpose built, made in china, offset is the same on all of them, the front & rear track seems identical with them fitted,
here they are;
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MITSUBISHI-CANTER-4X4-16-X-8-RIMS_W0QQitemZ140332526595QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Car_Parts_Accessories?hash=item20ac786c03&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A1%7C66%3A2%7C39%3A1%7C293%3A1%7C294%3A50
seemed like quite a bargain for $332 per rim including freight by toll ipec,
I work away & basically I only had time for a quick local drive before flying back to work,
cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,
I'm running the standard Canter rims with super singles all round. The tyres are Michelin XZL 9.00 R16.
It's just a matter of losing the inner rear
wheels and the track is almost the same front and rear - I measured it and it looks to be out by around 50mm - I can handle that.
