camping along powerline trek?

Hi all,
Does anybody know if its ok to camp along the powerline trek in the perth hills?(just for a night,up to 15 people).
If no,what are the options in the vicinity?(preferably in the bush).
Cheers,
Wazza

Hi Wazza,
i did years ago with a group - but we were out at the wanndoo nat park i think from memory as there is a dedicated spot for camping.
u could probably do it safely if you take one of the tracks that go south of the track so your slightly away from it - i cant imagine people would care.

regards
Bryan

no its not OK - its all catchment area with plenty of sighns frorbidding it along with boating, marroning shooting dogs etc etc

there are no options in the vacinity apart from caravan park style camping near the mundaring weir

nearest options i am aware of is Avon valley NP to the north, Murray river to the south and Boyagin rock to the east
