We just returned from a short Holiday to
Kalbarri and
Shark Bay.
LPG which is approx 60 cents/litre in
Perth is around 75 in
Geraldton, 104 in
Kalbarri,
Billabong Roadhouse and
Overlander Roadhouse and yet returns to 79 cents in
Denham,
Shark Bay. Surely someone is making excessive profits. We choose to completely bypass these rip-off's after topping up in
Denham we travelled to
Geraldton to refuel on the return trip.
We normally patronise all these
places because if they were not there it would be a long way between drinks. But there can be no excuse for the blatant profiteering that is occurring.

Atm diesel is cheaper in
Newman than
Exmouth.
LPG is dearer in
Karratha than down south and yet thats where it comes ashore.
When i asked why was told cos it all goes to
Geraldton and is trucked back
Figure that one out

Honestly, thats life. If you need it ,buy it. If you don't need it then don't buy it. You are being ripped off every day with everything you buy. So just deal with it.
Have a nice day
