After reading thread 70480, I downloaded the Nonimap view program to try it. I downloaded a google map with the program which it did ok and saved the map as a jpeg. However when I load the jpeg into Oxiexplorer ( the Full version) all I get is map with no calabraitions. I thought that Nonimap was supossed to automatically calibrate the map, or have I got my facts wrong.
Cheers
Steve

You should get a .jpg file and a .map file. The .map file is the calibration for OZI.

I think that is the problem Lex M. Only the .jpg is being created and not the .map file. Why would that be?

I can't see any reason why that would happen. Are you sure you haven't got a .map file? How did you load the .jpg into OZI?

I worked it out Lex M. The .map file is being created, I just didnt see it. Ive being playing around with Nonimap and Oziexplorer map merge for the last 20 minutes and the process all works
well.Thanks

Hi - to load a map/image into OziExplorer requires a calibration file (*.map). No calibration file and you cant load the map/image (except by using load and calibrate map image). So.....how have you determined there is no calibration? Maybe there is a calibration file but it is incorrect. Please clarify.
I have never used "Nonimap" so cant help there. What version Ozi are you using?
Cheers
