Fortescue river mouth

planning a trip north early August plan on stopping at the
Fortescue river mouth, will be towing a caravan. Has anyone been on the track NWhighway to the mouth if so what condition is it in ?

Hi Peter, we went with the Red Dog 4wd club on a day trip back in November last year. From memory the roads were very good due to the ongoing mining activity there. However there is a significant
water crossing which depending on tides and the weight of your caravan - may or may not put the kybosh on things. Hope this helps, doc.
