hi can any one enliten me on road conditions on rabbit proof fence road east off merredin northerly towards bonnie rock. garnys on the move north via paynes find

We were there a few years ago. No road just a two wheel track rough in parts and after the latest rain could be fairly wet.

If you are thinking about the track running alongside the current Barrier Fence, and it sounds like you may be , are you aware that that track is not open to the public at any time?

This track is not a gazetted road reserve, but an access track for staff carrying out fence repairs only.

People using it illegally are liable to prosecution and fines if caught there.

Permits from Dept of Ag & Food Biosecurity branch are required to travel along this track.
Depending on your intention and/or the presence of feral animals along the fence, usually emus, permits may not be granted.


How do I know this?
I used to work for Biosecurity branch patrolling the fence further north.
